Tuning and Reception

  1. FM Reception: Fully extend the telescopic antenna. Position vertically and adjust direction for strongest signal. Move radio if necessary to avoid obstructions.
  2. AM Reception: The internal ferrite bar antenna is directional. Rotate the entire radio slowly to find the position with the clearest sound and least interference.
  3. Manual Tuning: Turn the TUNING dial slowly. Stations are marked on the dial scale. Fine-tune until audio is clear and static is minimized.
  4. Interference: Keep away from computers, TVs, fluorescent lights, or other electronic devices that may cause noise.
