Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, dry surface.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 3 AA batteries observing correct polarity.
  2. Extend antenna: Pull telescopic antenna fully out for best FM reception.
  3. Connect power adapter (optional): Plug DC jack into radio, then plug adapter into AC outlet.
  4. For AM reception: Rotate radio for best signal; built-in ferrite bar antenna does not require extension.

WARNING! Use only recommended battery type. Do not mix old and new batteries.

First-Time Setup

Power on radio; set initial preferences.

  1. Set time: Hold CLOCK button, use TUNING buttons to adjust hours/minutes, press CLOCK to confirm.
  2. Select band: Press BAND to choose AM or FM.
  3. Tune stations: Use TUNING buttons to manually find desired station.
  4. Save presets: Tune to station, hold desired PRESET button (1-5) for 2 seconds until beep confirms.

Using Preset Stations

Store up to 5 AM and 5 FM stations.

  1. Tune to desired station using BAND and TUNING buttons.
  2. Hold a PRESET button (1-5) for 2 seconds until display shows "MEM" and beeps.
  3. Recall: Press POWER to turn on, press BAND to select band, press desired PRESET button.
  4. To overwrite: Repeat storing process with new station.
  5. Scan presets: Briefly press PRESET buttons to cycle through saved stations.

Note: Presets are retained when batteries are removed or power is disconnected.

Alarm & Sleep Timer

Alarm: Wake to radio or buzzer. Sleep Timer: Automatically turns radio off.

  1. Set alarm time: Hold ALARM/SLEEP, use TUNING to set time, press ALARM/SLEEP to confirm.
  2. Select alarm source: Press ALARM/SLEEP repeatedly to choose radio (last station) or buzzer.
  3. Activate/deactivate: Press ALARM/SLEEP briefly to toggle alarm on/off (alarm icon shows).
  4. Sleep timer: Press SLEEP repeatedly to set 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 minutes; radio turns off after set time.
  5. Snooze: Press any button during alarm to silence for 9 minutes.

Care & Cleaning

Remove batteries if not used for extended period. Clean with dry, soft cloth.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents or water. Keep antenna fully retracted when not in use.
