Tuning & Reception

For optimal reception, follow these guidelines:

  1. FM Tuning: Extend antenna fully; rotate radio or antenna direction for strongest signal. Avoid obstructions.
  2. AM Tuning: Rotate entire radio for best reception (internal ferrite antenna is directional).
  3. Weak Signals: Move radio closer to window or higher location. Avoid electronic interference from other devices.
  4. Station Memory: Mark favorite stations on dial with provided sticker or pen for quick tuning.

Tip: FM generally provides better sound quality; AM is better for long-distance and talk radio.

  2. Audio automatically switches from speaker to headphones.
  3. Adjust volume to comfortable level to protect hearing.
