Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, flat surface.

First-Time Setup

Power on the unit; follow these initial steps.

  1. Set the FUNCTION switch to RADIO (AM or FM).
  2. Tune to a station: Use the TUNING knob. For FM, ensure the antenna is fully extended.
  3. Adjust volume: Use the VOLUME knob.
  4. For cassette playback: Insert a cassette with the exposed tape facing outward and towards you.
  5. Set the FUNCTION switch to TAPE and press PLAY.

CAUTION! When using batteries, ensure correct polarity (+/-). Remove batteries if not used for extended periods.

Playing Cassettes

Supports standard Type I (Normal) audio cassettes.

  1. Insert cassette: Press STOP/EJECT to open door. Insert tape with full reel on left side.
  2. Play: Set FUNCTION to TAPE. Press PLAY.
  3. Stop: Press STOP/EJECT. To eject, press again when stopped.
  4. Fast Forward/Rewind: Press FF or REW. Press STOP to end.
  5. Recording: Use a cassette with the record tab intact. Press REC and PLAY simultaneously. To pause, press PAUSE (if available).
  6. Auto Stop: Function automatically stops tape at the end of a side.

WARNING! Do not touch the tape head or pinch roller with fingers. Keep magnets away from the unit.

Care & Cleaning
